Acrylic False Teeth
Acrylic is a type of plastic material which is commonly used for partials and full dentures. It’s an easily moldable material, which makes it a good candidate for dentures, as they take time to change.
Acrylic partials and full dentures are popular removable restorations for mostly seniors, since they closely match natural gums (they can be pink or dark acrylic) and provide tooth-color aesthetics. They are also an easy material for dentists to make adjustments for a quick and efficient visit.

Creating the best full denture
Our dental lab are often requested to fabricate acrylic full dentures. They can be from dentists’ physical impressions or digital scans. Some doctors may ask to make wax try-in first, so they can try fitting and bite. Other doctors, however, will ask to go straight to finish even with digital scans: they might request to extract teeth in our lab. With some remaining teeth, it is easier to confirm bite relationship.
In this example of manufacturing the acrylic full denture, we use Vita acrylic teeth and Dentsply QC-20 acrylic base (you can ask to use Lucitone 199). We call this Premium full denture. Usually, we will use New Ace acrylic teeth from Yamahachi and Dentsply QC-20 acrylic base, so we can provide affordable full dentures.
