A clear aligner, also called an invisible aligner, is a kind of orthodontic treatment to correct misaligned or crooked teeth. It is actually an invisible and removable alternative to the design of convenience and flexibility. Clear aligners help people avoid embarrassment during treatment, compared to conventional dental braces. Clear aligners are put on for at least 20 hours a day to reach the desired maximum performance. Each aligner is used for about 2 weeks before changing to the next one. Typically, aligner treatment can be as brief as 3 months or as long as over 2 years.
